Let's suggest 87/ Taking it easy 33
Message de F)
Hello dear Friends!

Another easy exercice that everyone can do!

1. What household chore do you hate most? Why?

2. Do you lend money easily?

3. Are you well organised, at work? at home?

4. Are you an early bird, or a night owl?

Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello dears,

ANSWER A: Topic1: What household chore do you hate most? Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

As far as I'm concerned, the worst household chore that puts me off the most is chasing dust and dirt.
Sweeping or vacuuming is exhausting. And dust and dirt come from everywhere: in the country house, it's the dust from the chimney, and the dirt from the garden, in the city, it's the dust from the street, and by the sea, you've got sand flying everywhere. It doesn't matter whether the house is new, modern or old, whether the floor is covered with marble or parque, dust still gets in.
Then the upkeep of the kitchen and bathrooms is the most demanding part of the chore. I feel like I'm spending my day with a sponge and a rag in my hand, because I have to wipe up the kitchen and bathrooms, several times a day.
In my opinion, cleaning the house is the least rewarding of all household chores, because this kind of task is never finished, you have to start all over again.

Thanks for your help!

A very good text!

As far as I'm concerned, the worst household chore xx xx that puts me off the most is chasing dust and dirt. "Worst" and "the most" don't fit together in this sentence, unless you add commas and two small words .

Hello dears,

Thanks for your indications. Here are mine...

A very good text! , gerold wrote! I agree! Well done...

Sweeping or vacuuming is exhausting. And dust and dirt come from everywhere: in the country house, it's the dust from the chimney,(in summer too? and in Australia?) and the dirt from the garden, in the city, it's the dust from the street, and by the sea, you've got sand flying everywhere. It doesn't matter whether the house is new, modern or old, whether the floor is covered with marble or parque(I'd say something much more common...), dust still gets in.
Then the upkeep of the kitchen and bathrooms is the most demanding part of the chore. I feel like I'm spending my day with a sponge and a rag in my hand, because I have to wipe up the kitchen and bathrooms, several times a day.(Teach your family to clean after themselves! Believe me, it'll pay in the long run...)
In my opinion, cleaning the house is the least rewarding of all household chores, because this kind of task is never finished, you have to start all over again. TTB!

Very good work, indeed.

Hello!

ANSWER A: Topic1: What household chore do you hate most? Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

As far as I'm concerned, the worst household chore, the one that puts me off the most, is chasing dust and dirt. ("Worst" and "the most" don't fit together in this sentence, unless you add commas and two small words .The sentence, as it is is clumsy...)
Sweeping or vacuuming is exhausting. And dust and dirt come from everywhere: in the/a country house, it's (chimney) soot (in summer too? and in Australia?) and garden dirt, in the/a city, it's street dust, and by the sea, you've got sand flying everywhere. It doesn't matter whether the house is new, modern or old, whether the floor is covered with marble or wood, dust still gets in.
Then the upkeep of/upkeeping the kitchen and bathrooms is the most demanding part of the chore. I am not sure about where the problem is. Perhaps upkeeping etc. is the chore itself, not a part of it?. I feel like I'm spending my day with a sponge and a rag in my hand, because I have to wipe up the kitchen and bathrooms, several times a day. (Teach your family to clean after themselves! Believe me, it'll pay in the long run...)
In my opinion, cleaning the house is the least rewarding of all household chores, because this kind of task is never finished, you have to start all over again. TTB!

How do you understand "still" in "dust still gets in" ("toujours/encore" ou "quand même")?
